Technikolor Studios is home to the collective ceramic pieces & artwork by Queer, Portland based artist, Nick Surette (He/They). Originally from Indianapolis, now rooted in Oregon with his husband and two cats, Nick’s work includes wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramic pieces along with a smaller collection of hand drawn artwork, and other miscellaneous items.

Their work is heavily inspired by mid-century modern design & patterns of the 60’s & 70’s. Particularly playing on themes of contrasting textures & fluidity, while using abstract elements and pops of color .

When not in the studio, Nick is often visiting local parks, coffee shops & hiking around the Pacific Northwest.
